Official Rankin County docket and record requests must go to the court or clerk that holds the original record. The routes below identify the county offices that handle common court questions.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This private reference resource cannot retrieve dockets, change a hearing date, remove or seal a case, issue a certified copy, or provide legal advice. Those requests must go to the proper court or clerk.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Use the court and clerk that hold the case. The record pathway depends on where it was filed and the type of record requested.

  • A docket sheet: use case search for the participating court or request the docket from that court’s clerk.
  • A court date or setting: check the court calendar guidance, then verify it with the clerk.
  • Certified copies: request them from the clerk maintaining the original record.
  • A Circuit or County Court case: contact Circuit Clerk Michelle Adcock at 215 E Government St, Brandon, MS 39042, 601-825-1466.
  • A Chancery case or record: contact the Chancery Records Office at 201 North St, 2nd floor, Brandon, MS 39042, 601-825-1649.
  • A Justice Court traffic, misdemeanor, or civil matter: contact Justice Court at 201 North St, 1st floor, Brandon, MS 39042, 601-824-2665.

Office hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but check the county locations page before appearing. Municipal court cases from Pearl, Brandon, Flowood, Richland, or Florence should first be directed to that city’s Court Services or municipal clerk.
